Our well-established client based in South Manchester is currently looking for an experienced IT Manager. The position will ensure that computer systems, server infrastructure, and communications networks are appropriate to the business needs of the company.
Responsibilities:
Network and systems management, including Active Directory, Azure cloud, Palo Alto firewalls, HP servers and switches, hyperconverged platforms, VMWare and Hyper V virtualisation, VOIP and Veeam backup, and DR software.
Lead in technical planning for IT and cyber security systems, including cyber security management
Lead in the testing and evaluation of new systems and software, and in the dissemination and documentation of new systems and software.
Participate in strategic planning related to IT‘s support of the business objectives, including overseeing the development and support of cloud-based applications.
Skills and qualifications:Maintain an overall level of understanding and competence appropriate to managing the day-to-day running of all systems and networks, including Cloud-based systems
Network management including Microsoft Active Directory, switching, firewalls, VOIP
MCSE or CCNA
Office 365
